Vivian C. Verrastro

Vivian C. Verrastro, 86, formerly of Torrington, passed away on July 27, 2015, at her home in La Mesa, California. Born in Waterbury on April 6, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Domenic and Angelina (D’Andrea) Verrastro.
Vivian was employed as a machine operator at the Torrington Company for thirty-three years, retiring in 1981. She was a member of A.A.R.P.
She is survived by her cousin, Marguerite LaBella of LaMesa, CA as well as several other cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 8, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Church, 107 East Main St. Torrington, CT 06790. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury, CT. Calling hours will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on the morning of the funeral at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, CT 06790.
