Thomasine J. (Russo) Skowronski

Thomasine J. Skowronski, 85, of Westland, Michigan, passed away, Monday, October 19, 2020 at the University of Michigan Hospital.  She was the beloved wife of Steven Skowronski for 64 years.

Thomasine was born June 7, 1935, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Verderame) Russo.  She attended Boston College.  Thomasine and Steve enjoyed vacationing all over the world on cruises… including Australia, South America, Europe, and China.

In addition to her husband Steve, she is survived by one nephew and three nieces.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.  A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at St. Francis New Cemetery.  Relatives and friends are reminded to follow CDC recommendations for COVID prevention, by social distancing and wearing face masks.
