It is with profound sadness that the family of Teresa Nemeth, age 94, of Harwinton, CT, shares the news of her passing on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Kalman Nemeth.
Teresa was born on October 14, 1930, in Magyarlak, Hungary, the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Sipos) Marosszeki. Teresa was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was happiest when she was with her family. She worked as a home health aide after her children were grown. Teresa was an avid gardener, and her love of flowers showed both inside and outside of her home. She took great joy in caring for her many plants.
Teresa leaves to cherish her love and memory, her children, MaryAnn Larose, Frank Nemeth, Anita Pelli and her husband Frank, and Judy Hemenway and her husband Mark; her beloved grandchildren, Lauren Crane and her husband Justin, Matthew Larose, Brooke Pelli, Madison Hemenway, Nicholas Pelli and his wife Margaux, Noah Hemenway, Grace Hemenway, Michael Pelli, Samuel Hemenway, and Matthew Pelli; her dear great-grandchildren, Emma and Ava Crane, and Maggie Pelli. She also leaves her sister and brother-in-law, Monica and Alan Davis. In addition to her husband Kalman, Teresa was predeceased by her son-in-law Robert Larose and her grandson Michael Larose.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and patient care techs at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital 5th floor, for their loving support and tender care and compassion.
