Teresa DiPlacito

Teresa DiPlacito, 62, of Torrington passed away on September 20, 2015, at Litchfield Woods. Born in Italy on March 24, 1953, she was the daughter of Guido and Angelina (DiBenedetto) DiPlacito.
Teresa was employed in Human Resources at The Hartford Insurance and in her later years, she worked as a substitute teacher for the Torrington Board of Education.
She is survived by her sister, Maria DeFrancesco and her husband,Vittorio, of Toronto, Canada, one nephew, two nieces, and several cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. at St. Peter Church, 107 East Main St. Torrington, CT 06790 on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 with the cortege leaving at 11:00 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, CT 06790. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held prior to the Mass from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
