Steven Whittier Fox

Steven Whittier Fox died unexpectedly December 24, 2015 at home.  The son of Bruce and Eleanor Fox, he was born in Waterbury, CT June 4, 1979.  He lived in Torrington most of his life, graduating from Torrington High School in 1998.  He was an expert tree trimmer having worked for several companies including Asplundh, Lewis and Trees Inc. to keep the electrical power flowing.

Steven was a great fan of drag racing and was looking forward to competing on the track.  He enjoyed working on and restoring cars.  Trips to Goose Rocks Beach, Maine, Hilton Head, South Carolina, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida brought much pleasure and repeat visits.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Anthony Fox and his beloved nephew Rylan, and niece Victoria.  He also leaves six very special felines Jiminy, Ruu, Grayford, Smack, Little Man and Tigette.

Steven will be greatly missed by his extended family and many friends.  Steven’s legacy will continue on in others through the gift of tissue donation.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 12:00 noon at Trinity Episcopal Church, 220 Prospect Street, Torrington, CT with a reception to follow.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
