Stanislaw "Stan" Levicki

Torrington, Connecticut

Stanislaw (Stan) Levicki, 91, of Torrington, CT, passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.  He was the husband of the late Philomena (Notte) Levicki.

Stan was born February 7, 1933, in Torrington, CT, the son of the late Stanley and Mary (Stopski) Levicki.  He served his country with the U.S. Army Honorably Discharged in 1955, when he received the National Defense Service Medal.

He retired from The Torrington Company Machine Shop in 1995 after 44 years of employment.

A longtime communicant of St. Mary's Church and more recently St. John Paul the Great Parish. Stan was involved in many parish organizations and assisted with preparing the altar for weekday Masses.

He loved gardening, watching sports, especially UCONN basketball and Yankees baseball, as well as spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by three daughters, Anne Marie Conlin (and her husband JR) of San Jose, CA; Jean Levicki of Manhattan Beach, CA; Diane Burns (and her husband Tom) of Decatur, GA; three grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister Helen Muszynski.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, with the cortege leaving at 10:30 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield Street, Torrington, CT to St. Peter Church (St. John Paul the Great Parish), 99 East Main Street, Torrington, CT for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.   Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 236 East Pearl Road, Torrington, CT. Relatives and friends may call on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
