Sandra L. (Schenk) LaRocco, 65, of Torrington, CT, passed away November 21, 2014. She was the beloved wife of Donald LaRocco for 43 years.
Sandy was born June 29, 1949, in Mineola, NY, daughter of Frank and Margaret (McNeil) Schenk of Torrington. A graduate of Naugatuck Valley Community College, she was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa and also a member of Beta Sigma Phi. She was employed by Opticare as a Medical Secretary.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Alexa Victoria LaRocco and her fiancé Jacob Wilson of Sugar Grove, IL; two brothers, Edward Schenk and his wife Pam, and Robert Schenk, all of Torrington; a god daughter, Deborah Cosker of Vernon, CT; a niece, Dana Rocco, and two nephews, Michael Germano and Matthew Germano.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday, November 28, 2014, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.
