Rose Marie (Alderuccio) Eanniello, 87, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023, at The Cottage at Litchfield Hills.
Rose was born September 8, 1935, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late Carmelo and Carmela (Romano) Alderuccio. She was an Account Representative employed by CBT for more than twenty years, and later retired from Bank of America. She enjoyed knitting, reading, going to the beach, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Rose also loved bus trips to NYC to see Broadway shows and watching sports of any kind, especially tennis and the Patriots. After retiring, she enjoyed volunteering at the Torrington Library and knitting prayer shawls with the knitting group from St. John Paul the Great Parish.
The family would like to thank the aides at The Cottage for taking such good care of her.
She is survived by four daughters, Rosanne Krajewski of Middletown, CT, Marianne Gage and her husband David of Brewster, MA, Susanne Eanniello of Torrington, CT, Julianne Eanniello of Westerly, RI; one son, Anthony Eanniello and his wife Wendy of Harwinton, CT; ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a baby boy, William Eanniello; one brother, Joseph Alderuccio and two sisters, Anne Rodgers and Molly Francione.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, with the cortege leaving at 10:00 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, to St. Peter Church (St. John Paul the Great Parish), 99 East Main St., Torrington, CT, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Francis New Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
