Rosana M. (Clapps) Giglio

Rosana M. (Clapps) Giglio, 75, of Winsted, CT, passed away September 14, 2016, at Litchfield Woods. She was the wife of the late Richard “Bucky” Giglio who preceded her in death on October 31, 2006.
Rosana was born July 27, 1941, Torrington, CT, daughter of the late Daniel and Mary (Todor) Clapps. She was employed by the Adams House Convalescent Home as a Bookkeeper until her retirement.
She is survived by two sons, Ernest Giglio (Joanne) of Winsted, CT, Dominic Giglio (Kristin) of Raleigh, NC; one sister, Marilyn Traversa of Epping, NH; sisters-in-law Holly Clapps of Burlington, CT and Sandra Clapps of Torrington, CT, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Clapps, Sr. and Daniel Clapps.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Ryan M. Lerner, on Friday, September 23, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Church, 107 East Main St., Torrington. Burial will follow at St. Francis New Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cook Funeral Home.
