Ronald J. Paniati

Ronald J. Paniati, 61, of Prospect, CT, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at his residence.  He was the beloved husband of Louise (Schmidt) Paniati for 30 years.

Ron was born October 7, 1954, in Torrington, CT, son of the late Ronald Q. and Mary (Nowacki) Paniati.  He was a Sr. Vice President of the Feroleto Steel Company where he worked for 38 years, and a lifelong member of The Boy Scouts of America.

In addition to his wife, Louise, he is survived by two sons, Stephen Paniati of San Antonio, TX, John Paniati of Prospect; three brothers, Jeffrey Paniati and his wife Kim of Silver Springs, MD, James Paniati and his wife Lorie of New Hartford, CT, and David Paniati and his wife Brenda of Torrington, CT, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, 4 Union City Rd., Prospect, CT 06712.  Relatives and friends are asked to meet directly at St. Anthony Church.  Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Torrington.  Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.
