Robert F. “Bockey” Krupinski, 68, of Torrington, CT, died after a short illness surrounded by his family and friends on Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. In addition to a large circle of friends and extended family, he leaves behind his beloved cats, Casper and Missy, whom he placed in a loving home before his passing.
He was born April 20, 1949, in Torrington, CT, son of the late Chester and Genevieve (Piekos) Krupinsky. He was the owner/operator of a property management company. All of Bob’s family, friends and customers knew him as a man with an enormous heart and generous nature, who was always willing to help people in any way he could. He had a huge presence that was only matched by his sparkling blue eyes, his smiling face and his booming laugh. His courage and unwavering positive attitude throughout his illness was an inspiration to everyone. He will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017, with the cortege leaving at 11:00 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, to St. Mary Church, 85 Pulaski St., Torrington, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
