Robert "Bob" A. Corey

Robert “Bob” A. Corey, 79, of Torrington passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019.  He was the beloved companion of Rose Zabbara of Winsted for over 40 years.

Bob was the son of the late Edward and Jennie (Theeb) Corey.  He was a self-employed mechanic who owned and operated Bob Corey’s Garage.

In addition to Rose, Bob is survived by his two sons Reed and Rob Corey, her sons, Nicholas Zabbara of Torrington and Christopher Zabbara of Winsted, two brothers, Louis Corey and his wife Linda, Michael Corey and his wife Liz, two sisters, Frieda Corey & Stella Corey all of Torrington, as well as several nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by one son, Randy Corey, three brothers and three sisters.
