Robert McNulty

Robert McNulty, 93 of Torrington passed away peacefully on Friday March 11 with his children by his side.

He was born on May 30, 1928, in Torrington the of the late Philip and Mae McNulty and predeceased by his brother James McNulty.  He was also predeceased by his wife of over 60 years, Veglia (Soliani) McNulty in 2015.

Robert was an US Army veteran of WWII.  He was employed over 40 years as a machinist at the Torrington Company until his retirement.  Our dad was a very hard worker and often worked two jobs to provide for his family.  He never hesitated to help us out when needed.

Robert leaves behind his three children, Gary McNulty, Maureen Bianchi and Sharon McNulty all of Torrington. He also leaves his four grandchildren, Christel (Josh) Russman, Daniel (Brittany) Cocchiola, Allison Bianchi and Lindsey Ransom.   He also leaves his four great-grandchildren, Velia and Vince Russman, Levi and Lily Cocchiola.

He loved us all so much and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, CT.  Burial will follow at St. Francis Old Cemetery, Torrington, with veterans final honors accorded.  Relatives and friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral  Home.
