Richard Carl Payson
July 28, 1936 — March 25, 2017
Richard Carl Payson, age 80, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family members on March 25, 2017.
He is survived by his wife, Emilia (Melanson) Payson; a brother Robert Payson; a sister Patricia Burdick; three daughters, Rachel Montesion, Patricia Payson and Jennie Day, as well as five grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters, Lillian Nolan and Nancy Reeves, as well as three brothers, Albert Payson, Thomas Payson and Joseph Payson.
Mr. Payson was born on July 28, 1936, in Fitchburg, MA, son of Albert Payson and Jennie (Tisa) Payson. Richard lived in Torrington, CT, and worked for Turner & Seymour for 45 years.
There will be no services as per Richard’s wishes.
