Raymond G. DelMonte

Raymond G. DelMonte, 72, of Torrington, CT, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Valerie Manor.
He was born January 24, 1942, in Torrington, CT, son of the late John and Mary (Ascenzo) DelMonte. A retired mason, he was employed by John Palladino Masonry, and enjoyed working with his hands in making bird houses, jewelry, planters and his specialty of Teddy Bear Pancakes for his children. He loved to fish, and to socialize with his many friends.
He is survived by two sons, Raymond DelMonte and his wife Christina, Michael DelMonte and his wife Lisa, one daughter, Laurie Taker and her husband Jeff all of Torrington; two brothers, Dennis DelMonte and his wife Kathleen of North Carolina, Ronald DelMonte and his wife Mary of Northfield, CT, a sister-in-law Cathy DelMonte; four grandchildren, Shelby, Jessica, Devon and Shalyn; his fiancée Lisa Thibodeau of Torrington, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jack DelMonte.
