Randall G. Gerrard, Jr.

Randall G. Gerrard, Jr., age 65, of, Torrington, passed away August 17, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.  He was the beloved husband of Pamela (Newth) Gerrard.

He was born on September 25, 1954, the son of the late Randall G. Gerrard Sr. and Solveig (Hestad) Gerrard of Torrington.  He was employed by Kimberly-Clark as a Machinist until his retirement.   A true all around handy man, he was an avid hiker, loved outdoor camping and taking trips to Martha’s Vineyard where he loved to fish.  He was a triathlete, and also loved to play baseball, softball, basketball and skiing.

In addition to his wife, Randall leaves a son and daughter-in-law  James and Anita Gerrard, of Vernon, CT, a daughter Emily Gerrard of Wethersfield and his grandson, Martin Gerrard; two sisters, Lorna Sauter of Celebration, FL and Lucinda Hoyt of San Jose, CA, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, August 27, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery, Torrington.
