Ralph Lovallo, 86, of Torrington, passed away on April 12, 2016, at his home. Born in Torrington on August 4, 1929, he was the son of the late Daniel and Clara (Ricci) Lovallo. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Columbie) Lovallo.
Prior to his retirement, Ralph was employed by the State of Connecticut on the bridge crew. A former member of the Veneta Society, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending his time with his family.
Ralph is survived by his children: Dennis and his wife, Mary of Torrington; Maureen Webb and her husband, Larry, of Colebrook; Daniel and his wife, Rosemary, and Lynn Kulesza and her husband, Joe, all of Torrington. He is also survived by his brother, William Lovallo of Torrington and his sister, Ann Morando of Massachusetts. He leaves thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Michael Lovallo, and his sisters, Marie Colucci and Lucy Weik.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at 10:00 at St. Peter Church, 107 East Main St., Torrington with the cortege leaving at 9:30 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016, at Cook Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Condolences to the Lovallo family may be sent to www.cookfuneralhomect.com.
