Nancy (Eucalitto) Zega

Nancy (Eucalitto) Zega, 70, of Harwinton, CT, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Thomas E. Zega.
Nancy was born February 27, 1946, in Torrington, CT, daughter of the late Mark and Bertha (Mischak) Eucalitto. She was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Eucalitto and one sister, Antoinette (Eucalitto) Summa. Nancy was an Operating Room Nurse at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital for many years. She loved cooking, knitting and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by three daughters Andrea Zega Price and her husband Eric of Franconia, NH, Heather Zega LeVasseur and her husband Armand of Falls Church, VA, Katie Zega Trzcinski and her husband Rajmund of Middletown, CT; five grandchildren, Sierra, Jack, Makenna Price, and Aidan and Tommy LeVasseur, and her longtime companion, Daniel Van Deusen of Harwinton, CT.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 78 Litchfield Road, Harwinton, CT. Relatives and friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in St. Francis New Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, CT.
