Michele “Michael” DiLullo, 82, of Torrington, CT, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Fiorita (Colecchia) DiLullo.
Michael was born April 11, 1941, in Montebello, Sul Sangro, formerly known as Buonanotta, Italy, the son of the late Celestino and Blanda (Giampaolo) DiLullo. When Michael wasn’t working, he enjoyed gardening, socializing with the community, and eating a fine-cooked meal with his wife – after every meal, he would complement Fiorita, saying, another great dinner. He enjoyed traveling to his hometown in Italy and being surrounded by friends and family.
In addition to his devoted wife Fiorita, he is survived by one son, Enzo DiLullo and his wife Beth, of Wilton, CT; one daughter, Marilena DiLullo Gillette, and her husband Kevin, of Harwinton, CT; one sister, Maria DiLullo of Torrington, CT; four grandchildren, Olivia and Sara Gillette, Julia Nicole, and Michael Anthony DiLullo; one niece Mara DiLullo and two nephews, Celestino and Michael DiLullo.
