Michael David Brady

Michael David Brady, 41, of Winsted, CT, peacefully passed away at his residence on January 21, 2024.

Michael was born April 10, 1982, in Torrington, CT, the son of Andrew and Lorinda (Booth) Brady.  He was a graduate of Gilbert School, Class of 2000. He attended the University of Maine, Machias. Afterward he managed student dining services for many years.  He was currently a chef, employed by Indian Mountain School,

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Julie Vold and her husband Evan of Winchester Center; two nieces, Amber and Lily Vold, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, CT.  Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
