Maryann Owens

Maryann Taylor/McClintock Owens (affectionately known as Mom or Grandma), 86, of Canton, CT born March 30, 1938, in Newark NJ, departed this life on Friday, December 13, 2024. 

She will forever be remembered for her love of fostering children, animals, doll collections, singing, fishing and drawing Maryann was predeceased by mother Ana Mae Lawson, son Derrick, brothers Arthur and George. She is survived by her only sister Dorothy Rush, children: Kimberly (Sandra), Robin, Terrance (Mary), Cheryl, Carlos and Shawn (Betsy). She also leaves a host of loving grandchildren and great children, nieces and nephews. 

The family will hold private services remembering Maryann at a later date. Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield Street, Torrington, CT in charge of arrangements.
