Mary M. Tino

Mary M. Tino, 96, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019.  She was the beloved wife of the late William A. Tino.

Mary was born June 9, 1923, in Torrington, CT.  She was the daughter of the late Antonio and Catherine (Lucia) Altimari.  Mary was employed by the Torrington Company until her retirement.

She is survived by one son, David and his wife, Gayle of Las Vegas, NV; one daughter, Sally Pirla and her husband, Robert of Torrington, CT; one sister, Anna Mae Hebb of Torrington, CT; five grandchildren, David Tino Jr. and his wife, Shanette, Michael Tino, David Miller, John Pirla and Gina Pirla and her fiancé, Joe Rodriquez as well as several nieces and nephews.  Mary was predeceased by three brothers, Domenic, Leonard and Carmen Altimari and two sisters, Mollie Faccin and Jennie Britton.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.  Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may call on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
