Mary (Chekas) Maule

Mary (Chekas) Maule, 75, of New Hartford, CT, passed away Friday, June 22, 2018, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.  She was the beloved wife of David Maule for 40 years.

Mary was born March 17, 1943, in Bristol, CT, daughter of the late Angelo and Esta (Kiamos) Chekas.   She was employed by Charlotte Hungerford Hospital as an Obstetrics Nurse, where she was blessed to witness countless births of children.  She was a member of A.A.R.P.

In addition to her husband David, she is survived by two sons, Jeff Richards and his wife Rhonda of Burlington, CT, David J. Maule and his wife Stacy of Torrington, CT; two daughters, Marion Carroll and her husband Patrick of Torrington, CT, Andrea Dixon and her husband Adam of West Hartford, CT; six grandchildren, Stephanie and her wife Marissa, Nicholas, Timothy, Erin, Jonathan and Katie as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by six brothers.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home Chapel with a Funeral Service to be held at the conclusion of calling hours.  Burial will be private.
