Mary Dell'Agnese

Mary (Domack) Dell’Agnese, 78, of Harwinton, CT, died peacefully at her home on July 24, 2014.  She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Dell’Agnese, and was also predeceased by her brother, Alan Domack.

Mary was born December 26, 1935, in Torrington, CT, daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Rand) Domack.   After graduating from Torrington High School, she was employed, alongside her mother, by the Torrington Company, Needle and Bearing Division for 12 years, retiring in 1965 to raise her family.  Later on in her life, she was a Rental Agent for Georgetown Gardens from 1985 to 2014.  Mary was a communicant of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Harwinton.

She is survived by two children, a son John Dell’Agnese and his wife Dawn, a daughter, Beth Murphy and her husband Keith, all of Torrington; three grandchildren, Nicole, Courtney and Matthew Dell’Agnese, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mary’s family would like to express their gratitude to the Foothills V.N.S. and to Acorn Home Care for the care, compassion, and support given to Mary as well as to her family.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 78 Litchfield Road, Harwinton, CT.  Entombment will follow in St. Peter Mausoleum.  There are no calling hours.
