Mary (Rau) Bisciotti

Mary (Rau) Bisciotti, 85, of Yorkshire St., Torrington, wife of the late Simone Bisciotti, died Monday, October 13, 2014, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital after a brief illness.
Mary was born December 28, 1928, in Springfield, MA, daughter of the late Sante and Dianna (Ditullio) Rau.
She is survived by her son, Ralph Bisciotti of Torrington, her daughter, Elena DeMasi and her husband Alfred of Torrington; four grandchildren, Nicholas Bisciotti of Boston, MA, Nina Madsen and her husband Jasen of Brigantine, NJ, Christopher Bisciotti of Arlington, VA, and Tori Bisciotti of Torrington; three sister, Theresa Rau, Anna Brunt, and Lucy Rau all of Springfield, MA, one brother, William Rau and his wife Shirley of Ludlow, MA, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2014, with the cortege leaving at 10:00 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington to St. Peter Church, 107 East Main St., Torrington, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday morning, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
