Martha Snay - Garrison

Martha Snay-Garrison, 72, of Torrington, CT, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024, at John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington, CT. She was the beloved wife of John Garrison, Jr.

Born on August 30, 1952, in Torrington, CT, Martha was the daughter of the late Richard and Lillian (Kneisler) Snay. She dedicated 25 years of her career to Timex, working in their quality control department, until her retirement.

In addition to her husband, John, Martha leaves behind a cherished daughter, Mindy Hobson of Torrington, CT, and her grandson, Dadrian Moore, who was her pride and joy.  She is also survived by her brother, William Snay of New Hampshire, as well as several nieces and nephews, who will hold her memory dear.

Martha was preceded in death by her sister, Laura Snay. 

A celebration of Martha's life will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Salt 2.0, 84 Main St., Torrington, CT 06790 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
