Mark F. DallaValle, Sr., 54, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away Monday, December 13, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Jennifer (Berube) DallaValle.
Mark was born January 1, 1967, in Torrington, CT, the son of Dorothy (Gerardi) Oryell of Torrington, CT, and of the late Francis H. DallaValle. He served his country with the US Army. He was employed by Charlotte Hungerford Hospital as a Registered Nurse.
Mark always put family first. His wife Jennifer and children were his world. Mark was the kind of man who would be there for anyone in the drop of a hat. He loved being an operating room nurse and took care of each patient as if they were his family member. Mark's sense of humor and personality lit up a room any room he entered; he was always the life of any party. Mark enjoyed singing and dancing and literally grabbed everyone to the dance floor. Mark was a huge fan of the Washington Redskins and New York Yankees. He had a passion for traveling with his wife Jennifer and his sister-in-law Jessica. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his many special and cherished friends. Mark would want everyone who knew and loved him to embrace all the fond memories that were shared.
In addition to his wife Jennifer, and his mother Dorothy, he is survived by two sons, Cody DallaValle and his girlfriend Franchesca Alvarez of Chicopee, MA, Ryan DallaValle and his fiancée Katarina Desousa of Torrington, CT; two sisters, Francine Casarella and her husband Marc of Plainville, CT, Deborah Pennell and her husband Bill of Buckeye, AZ; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Roland and Nancy Berube of Torrington, CT; sister-in-law Jessica and brothers-in-law Roland Jr. and Jeffrey Berube, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces nephews and three great nieces.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021, at 8:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, CT followed by final military honors accorded. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends may call on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 8:00 p.m. Respecting current Covid protocols, all attending calling hours and the funeral service are requested to wear protective facemasks while inside of the funeral home.
