Mario Zoli passed away on Feb 12, 2022, he was 83 years old.
Mario was a lifelong resident of Torrington, Conn. Son of the late Amerigo (Gene) and Rita Zoli, and his late brothers Thomas and Eugene Zoli. He is survived by his brother William and his wife Karen Zoli of Fallston, Maryland. His niece, Kathryn Reinauer and her husband Eric, their children Lillian and Weston of Arlington, VA. His niece Kristen Zoli of Baltimore, Maryland. His Nephew Paul Zoli and his wife Lauren and their daughter Leah of Hanover, Maryland.
Mario worked many years in the family business of M. Zoli and Sons bottling company making soda deliveries to local and surrounding businesses. After the family business closed, Mario worked at the Torrington Recycling Center until it closed. He enjoyed working every day and because of his outgoing and friendly personality, Mario was very welcomed throughout the Torrington community.
In the last three years Mario was living in a loving and caring group home in Waterbury, Connecticut. Mario will be sadly missed and always remembered by his loving family, friends and the dedicated and caring staff of Alternative Homes.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, with the cortege leaving at 10:30 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, CT, to St. Peter Church (St. John Paul the Great Parish), 99 East Main St., Torrington, CT 06790 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Francis New Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
