Marie C. (Lovallo) Gagnon

Marie C. (Lovallo) Gagnon, 86, of Harwinton, CT, peacefully passed away May 3, 2019, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.  She was the beloved wife of Everett Gagnon for 64 years.

Marie was born July 9, 1932, in New Rochelle, NY, daughter of the late Frank and Lucy (Samela) Lovallo.   She was employed by Patco as a cashier until her retirement.  A longtime communicant of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, she held the office of President of the IHM Mother’s Club, as well as being a member of the Connecticut Council of Catholic Women.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Todd Gagnon of New York City; one daughter, Kim Brady of Sterling, VA; one brother, Vincent Lovallo of New Hartford, CT; two sisters, Ann Kittle of Bronx, NY, Lucille Lovallo of Torrington, CT; two grandchildren, Grace and Caroline Brady, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019, with the cortege leaving at 10:30 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (Our Lady of Hope Parish) 78 Litchfield Rd., Harwinton, CT 06791 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
