Marian (Santoro) Hall died peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at the age of 89. She was the beloved wife of the late Franklin “Si” Willis Hall who preceded her in death on November 19, 2020.
Marian was born on June 5, 1932, in Winsted, CT, to Thomas and Anna (Polizzi) Santoro. She was a graduate of St. Anthony’s and Gilbert Schools. She and Frank were married at St. Joseph’s Church on June 16, 1956.
Marian was employed for many years in the Accounting Department at the Hitchcock Chair Company, and also sold Beeline Fashion wear. She was a member of the Italian American Women’s Club, and enjoyed playing Mahjong and cards with her friends. Marian was a lifelong and dedicated communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Winsted. Marian enjoyed camping with her family and relaxing by the evening fires. Together with Frank, she enjoyed their Sunday night coffee klatch and trips to Cape Cod. After Frank’s retirement in 1992, they became “snowbirds” and began enjoying their winters in Winter Haven, FL with friends, while looking forward to returning to CT in the summer to enjoy their family time.
Marian is survived by four children, a son Gregory (Kristin) Hall of Winsted, CT, and their children Gregory (GJ) Hall and Geoffrey (Hannah) Hall and great grandson Luca; a daughter Diane (Ken) Quick and their children Karaline (Chris) Venezia and great grandchildren Chace and Presley, Lindsay (Nick) Depew and great grandchildren Grace and Sophie, Kenneth Quick, Jr.; a daughter Valerie (Richard) Berger and their children Victoria Berger (Jack Turner) and Nicholas (Amy) Berger and great grandchildren Beckham and Warren; a son Thomas (Martha) Hall and their daughter Michaela Hall.
