Lynn P. (McPhail) Carlson

Lynn P. (McPhail) Carlson, 60, of Harwinton, CT, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family on Thursday January 28, 2016, at her home.  She was the wife of Walter Carlson.

Born December 18, 1955, in Boston, MA she was the daughter of the late Milton and Pauline (Greenier) McPhail.   She was employed by the City of Waterbury and had worked in Human Resources.  Lynn enjoyed knitting and made many items with love.

In addition to her husband Walter of Harwinton, she is survived by a son David Carlson (Beth) of Berkley, MA; two daughters Karin Carlson (Cliff) of British Columbia, Canada, Tamra Wallace (Craig) of Burlington, CT; two brothers Peter McPhail of Torrington, and James Denslow of New Haven, a half-brother, Larry Miskimen and his wife Virginia; four grandsons, and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Lynn was predeceased by twin sisters Bonnie and Brenda McPhail.

Calling hours will be held on Friday February 5, 2016, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., with a funeral service to be held at the conclusion of the calling hours at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield Street, Torrington.
