Lorraine G. (Columbie) Thibault

Lorraine G. (Columbie) Thibault, 85, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017, at her home with her family by her side.

Lorraine was born December 17, 1931, in Torrington, CT, daughter of the late Henry and Cesira (Sarri) Columbie.  She was employed by Executive Greetings as a Press Operator until her retirement.  She enjoyed knitting, coloring, and spending time with and hosting her large family

She is survived by two sons, James Thibault (Debby) of Harwinton, Timothy Thibault (Pook) of Torrington; three daughters, Kathleen Jelisavcic (Micha) of Dumfries, VA; Deborah Ferry (Paul) of Torrington, Carrie Abraham (Ken Fors) of Canton; one sister, Doris Misani of New Hartford; nine grandchildren,  Brian Ferry,  Michael Ferry, Ryan Abraham, Brett Abraham, Ashleigh  Thibault, Lauren Thibault, Sierra Thibault, Jimmy Thibault, Kelly Thibault; seven great grandchildren, Grant Ferry, Colette Ferry, Isabella Penney, Gabriella Penney, Ethan Penney, Natalie Norris, Wyatt Norris, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Lovallo.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017, with the cortege leaving at 11:00 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 160 Main St., Torrington for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m.   Burial will follow at St. Francis New Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
