Leonard L. Rinaldi, passed away on February 24, 2015, at Valerie Manor at the age of 87. Born in Torrington on August 22, 1927, he was the son of the late Anthony and Josephine (Magone) Rinaldi.
Leonard served his country during World War II in the United States Army as a member of the 24 th Constabulary Squadron. He was employed by the City of Torrington as a firefighter until his retirement.
He is survived by his two nieces, Patricia and her husband, Thomas Butwell, of Litchfield, Brenda and her husband Gerard Levesque of Torrington; and several cousins.
Private funeral services have been entrusted to Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.
