Leo A. Zordan, 92, peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at his home in Harwinton, CT.  He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Kelmelis) Zordan.

Leo was born June 6, 1928, in Corona, NY, the son of the late Ivo and Mary (Pavoni) Zordan.  He served his country with the U.S. Army when upon his Honorable Discharge in 1954, he received the Army of Occupational Medal (Germany) and the National Defense Service Medal.

Self-employed, he was a Tool and Die maker by trade, owning and operating Leo Zordan Tool & Machine until his retirement.

He loved his family and always helped others.

He is survived by one son, David Zordan (Sharon) of New Hartford, CT; two daughters, Diane Wardyga (Alan) of North Smithfield, RI, Donna Clifford (Jimmy) of Harwinton, CT; one brother, Aldo Zordan of Torrington, CT; one sister, Marlene Constable of Torrington, CT; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery, 76 Walnut Street, Torrington, CT.   Relatives and friends attending the funeral services are reminded to follow CDC recommendations for COVID prevention by following social distancing and wearing face masks.
