Lena P. (Sartiani) Teti

Lena P. (Sartiani) Teti, 97, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away Friday, April 14, 2023, at Litchfield Woods.  She was the wife of the late Mario Teti and former wife of the late Aminio "Midge" Urezzio.

Lena was born May 3, 1925, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late Luigi and Ersilia (Frezzotti) Sartiani.   She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially when she was cooking for them.

She is survived by her children, Karen Urezzio of Torrington, CT, Jeanne Liptak of York, PA, as well as her step children, David Teti of Bristol, CT, Dean Teti and his wife Valerie of Bristol, CT, Donna Hopkins and her husband Larry of Torrington, CT: one grandson, Neil Liptak, three great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband and her parents, Lena was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Alfano.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023, with the cortege leaving at 10:30 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, to St. Peter Church (St. John Paul the Great Parish) 99 East Main St., Torrington, CT for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
