Leana (Fortin) Pinette

Leana (Fortin) Pinette, 94, of Torrington, CT, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016, at Litchfield Woods. She was the wife of the late Norman Pinette.
Leana was born October 27, 1922, in Fort Kent, Maine, daughter of the late Fred and Mary (Plourd) Fortin. She was employed by TEC Systems in Thomaston, CT, until her retirement in 1987. She was a member of the Sullivan Senior Center.
She is survived by two sons, James Pinette of Akron, OH, and Armand Pinette of Torrington, CT, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Perry Pinette; one daughter, Marie Duval; one brother, Percy Fortin; and one sister, Evelyn Belanger.
