Kenneth L. Dayfield

Kenneth L. Dayfield, 76, of Torrington, CT, went home to the Lord on March 26, 2025, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Margaret “Marge” (Armbruster) Dayfield for 18 years.

Kenny was born on December 13, 1948, in Burrville, CT, the son of the late Kenneth and Helen (Piekos) Dayfield. He served his country with the U.S. Air Force, Honorably Discharged in October of 1970. He was employed by Theiss Precision Steel until his retirement.

In addition to his wife Marge, he is survived by a son, Kenneth Dayfield, Jr. (Liza) of Goshen, CT; a daughter, Chelsea Ness (Taylor) of Torrington, CT; a brother, Leon Dayfield (Carol) of Danbury, CT; two grandchildren, Jack and Sophie Dayfield, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Harvest Baptist Church, 1440 Litchfield Turnpike, New Hartford, CT 06057. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery with full military honors accorded. There are no calling hours.
