Kathleen Hague

Kathleen Hague (Fritch), 70, of New Hartford, CT passed away peacefully at Hartford Hospital on June 23, 2024.

Born on July 6, 1953, in Keene, New Hampshire, Kate is survived by her three sons, Jared Fritch (Marci), Brendan Fritch (Laura), and Kyle Fritch (Hillary) and her eight beautiful grandchildren – Madison, Lola and Marley Fritch, Emelia and Harper Fritch and Wesley, Bodie, and Jack Fritch. She is also survived by her two siblings – Judy Quinn and Bill Hague and several nieces and nephews. She will join in heaven her father and mother, Gerald and Norma Hague and her siblings Nancy and Tim Hague.

Kate graduated from Rocky Hill High School in 1971. Kate went on to graduate from Central Connecticut State University with a Master’s Degree in reading.

Kate devoted her life to her three boys and her eight grandchildren. In the end, it is no surprise that her heart became weak as she spent her 70 years pouring out love for every person in her life. Whether it was in the first-grade classroom where she proudly taught for fifteen years, choreographing and directing plays in Torrington and Barkhamsted, or housing and feeding the friends of her three sons for weekends at a time.

There will be no calling hours. Please join us for a celebration of life on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 12-3 pm at Crystal Peak in Winsted, Connecticut.
