Karen K. (Sohocki) Tedesco, 71, of Winsted, Connecticut, peacefully passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021, at Valerie Manor in Torrington, Connecticut.
Karen was born September 2, 1949, in Torrington, Connecticut, the daughter of the late Stanley and Katherine (Kozlak) Sohocki. She recently worked in the floral department of Big Y in Torrington, and was employed for many years at the Torrington China Shop. She was a volunteer at the Winsted Senior Center.
Karen is survived by her daughter, Wendy (Tedesco) Mooney; her brother and his wife, John and Paula Sohocki of Torrington, CT; her grandchildren Olivia Mooney and Kate Mooney of Torrington, CT; her nephew Brian Sohocki of Pennsylvania; her niece Denise Sohocki of Colebrook, CT; and her partner, Patrick Hoffman of Winsted, CT.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington. There will be a short graveside service on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., at Hillside Cemetery, 76 Walnut St., Torrington. Relatives and friends attending are reminded to follow CDC recommendations for social distancing and wearing protective face masks.
