Judith Marie (Connell) Pelchat

Judith Marie (Connell) Pelchat, 77, of Sun City Center, Florida, formerly of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away Friday, June 23, 2017, surrounded by her family, in Florida. She was the beloved wife of Richard A. Pelchat for 56 years.
Judy was born November 8, 1939, in Torrington, CT, daughter of the late Francis and Lena (Fabbi) Connell. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she loved to cook for and spend time with her family and many friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, James Pelchat (Kathy) of Torrington, Tammy Rouleau (John) of New Hartford, Paula McLaughlin (Paul) of Torrington, David Pelchat (Carol) of Granby, Cathy Pound of Lutz, FL; one sister, Nancy Ambrose of Southbury, CT; twelve grandchildren, Nicole, Jared, Lauren, Lindsey, Cameron, Cody, Zachary, Cate, Alexis, Madison, Torrie, Emily, one great grandson, Brennan, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Connell and one very special angel, Spencer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 3, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 160 Main St., Torrington.
