On April 29, 2024, John F. Hovanak, Jr., 87, of Torrington, CT, a dedicated spot welder for P.T.C. Aerospace and a proud veteran of the U.S. Marines, passed away at his residence. He was born on April 15, 1937, in Torrington, Connecticut and attended Torrington schools.
He is survived by his brother Greg Hovanak of Torrington, CT. John was preceded in death by his loving wife, Donna (Holtman) Hovanak, his parents John F. Hovanak, Sr. and Mary (Romitti) Hovanak, as well as his brother Donald Hovanak.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate John's life will be held on May 8, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis New Cemetery in Torrington, CT.
