John August

John August, 57, of Watertown, CT, passed away Friday, March 24, 2023.

John was born June 12, 1965, in Winsted, CT, the son of the late John August, Sr. and of the late Virginia (Nettleton) Lawrence.

John was a man of many skills besides being a mason by trade.

He is survived by his stepfathers Stephen Buyak of Barkhamsted, CT and Michael Lawrence of Watertown, CT; three sisters, Patricia Cammilletti, Tina Sweet both of Torrington, CT, and Jennifer Buyak of North Carolina.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Angel (Richards) August, one brother, Stephen Buyak, Jr., and his beloved old Chevy pickup truck.

A celebration of life will be held at a time to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the diabetes charily of your choice.
