Joan M. (Tomasi) Mosca

Joan M. Mosca, 87, of Goshen, passed away on January 28, 2015, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Columbus Mosca.
Joan was born on October 30, 1927, in Brooklyn, New York, daughter of the late Dominic and Antoinette (Galeazzi) Tomasi. She was a member of the Goshen Agricultural Society and St. Thomas Church Ladies Guild as well as a volunteer for the Goshen Public Library for many years. She was an avid gardener, and she enjoyed baking.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Mosca and his wife, Gretchen, Ronald and his wife, Maureen, all of Goshen, one daughter, Joanne Renna and her husband, Mark, of Prospect, as well as five grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Richard Mosca.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 71 North St., Goshen, CT, 06756. Relatives and friends are asked to meet directly at St. Thomas of Villanova Church. Burial will be held in the spring. Relatives and friends may call on Friday, January 30, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, CT 06790.
