Jennie E. (Pace) Mastrogiovanni, 96, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away on September 16, 2019, at Litchfield Woods. She was the beloved wife of the late Felix Mastrogiovanni.
Jennie was born April 6, 1923, in Torrington, CT, daughter of the late Patsy and Anna (Annos) Pace. She was employed by The Torrington Company for 32 years as an Inspector until her retirement. She was a member of the Harwintones, an organization of the Harwinton Senior Center, where she enjoyed singing to people of all ages, from schools to nursing homes. She will be missed by all her friends at the center.
Jennie leaves behind two sons, William (Jane) Mastrogiovanni of Torrington and Robert (Harriet) Mastrogiovanni of Torrington, along with five grandchildren, Bill and Matthew Mastrogiovanni, Brenda Jacobsen, Daniel and Kellie Mastrogiovanni, and five great grandchildren, Marcus and Carly Tagart, Lillian, Anna and Mia Mastrogiovanni, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers John Pace, William Pace and a sister Emily Wiley.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019, with the cortege leaving at 10:30 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington to St. Peter Church, (St. John Paul the Great Parish) 99 East Main St., Torrington, CT for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call on Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
