Jennie (Tufano) Cimino

Jennie (Tufano) Cimino, 90, passed away peacefully at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital on February 11, 2019.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Salvatore Cimino of 66 years. Jennie was born September 21, 1928, in Queens, NY to the late Thomas and Josephine (Miranda) Tufano.

Jennie is survived by her three sons, Ronald Cimino of Torrington, CT, Dennis Cimino of Smithtown, NY, Scott Cimino of Kings Park, NY; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brother, Patrick Tufano.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, (St. John Paul the Great Parish) 160 Main St., Torrington.  Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Litchfield.  Relatives and friends may call February 16, 2019, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Connecticut Chapter, 200 Executive Blvd., Southington, CT 06489 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Condolences may be sent to Jennie’s family by visiting www.cookfuneralhomect.com
