Jean P. (Cantadore) Neag

Jean P. (Cantadore) Neag, 98, of Narragansett, RI passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017, at Brookdale South Bay in South Kingstown, RI.  She was the wife of the late Traian Neag. Jean was born in North Canaan, CT, and was the daughter of the late Baptist and Elizabeth (Rasiga) Cantadore.

Jean grew up in Torrington, CT and lived much of her adult life with her family in Middletown, CT.  She was a registered nurse at Middlesex Memorial Hospital where she also volunteered throughout her retirement.

She is survived by one daughter: Nancy N. Satalino (husband Robert) of Narragansett, RI; two grandchildren:  Robert T. Satalino of Narragansett, RI and John F. Satalino of Richmond, RI and one great grandson: Ayden T. Satalino of Narragansett, RI, and by many loved nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by seven siblings:  Joseph Cantadore, Frank Cantadore, Rico Cantadore, Ann Martinelli, Anita Signorelli, Olympia Vestalli and George Cantadore.

A Catholic Prayer Service will take place at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield Street, Torrington, CT on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at 11:30 a.m.  Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service.
