Janet (Dolan) Wright

Janet (Dolan) Wright, 82, of Avon, CT, formerly of Torrington, CT, died January 13, 2022.

Janet was born July 27, 1939, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late Paul and Elise (Foglia) Dolan. She was the Director of Samaritan Help Line. She loved all animals.  She enjoyed watching the birds from her kitchen window and rescued many cats throughout her life.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.  Burial will follow at St. Francis New Cemetery.  Calling hour Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
