James A. Storrs, 65, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away July 22, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Furlin) Storrs for 46 years.
Jim was born April 16, 1952, in Torrington, CT, son of the late Kenneth and Lina (Logan) Storrs. He was employed by Palladin Precision Products as a Machinist. He was a member of the Elk’s Lodge #372, and was a Past President of the Connecticut Triumph Registery.
In addition to his beloved wife Barbara, he is survived by two daughters, Dawn Pollutro (David) of New Hartford, CT, Danielle Storrs of Torrington, CT; one brother, Gary Storrs (Deborah) of Torrington, CT; one sister-in-law, Mary Storrs of Goshen; four grandchildren, Gabrielle Storrs, Ana-Maire Pollutro, Raymond Abeling, Christina Pollutro, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Storrs and one sister, Patricia Bruckner.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday morning, July 28, 2017, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington. Burial and graveside services will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
