Irma (Lovato) Pollack

Irma (Lovato) Pollack, 81, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at her home with her son by her side.  She was the wife of the late Ernest Pollack.

Irma was born March 11, 1939, in Newark, NJ, daughter of the late Angelo and Rose (Albreada) Lovato.  Throughout her life, she was a dedicated employee at various manufacturing facilities.

She is survived by her son, Robert Battiste and his wife Darlene of Torrington; one sister, Anne Leoni and her husband Ronald of Harwinton; four grandchildren, Rebecca and Carmine Valentino, Seth and Sandy Tobin, Daniel and Shawn Tobin, Rachael and Joe Gangi; eight great grandchildren, Carmine, Tobin, Clover, Gage, Emery, Adi, Vivi and Yanni,  as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Angelo and Mario Lovato, and two sisters, Ines DiVita and Vera Calvitti.

The family greatly appreciates the care given to Irma by Hartford Healthcare Hospice Homecare and by ComForCare Home Care.
