Henry G. Archambault Sr., 82, of Torrington, CT, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.  He was the beloved husband of Bernice (Brighenti) Archambault for 58 years.

Henry was born September 22, 1934, in Woonsocket, RI, son of the late Sergillius and Cecile (Southiere) Archambault. He served his country with the US Marine Corps as a Corporal during the Korean War.

Henry was employed by Archambault Builders as a carpenter and later by the Union Glass Company from where he retired. He was an avid Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and UCONN Basketball fan. His hobbies included yard work and fixing things. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by one son, Henry Archambault Jr. (Laurel) of Torrington, CT; two daughters, Lori Bebyn (Dan) of Torrington, CT and Debra Richnavsky (Roger) of Bristol, CT; four brothers, Maurice Archambault of Coventry, CT, Ronald Archambault of South Windsor, CT, Jean Archambault of Leesburg, FL and Bernard Archambault of Enfield, CT; two sisters, Jeanne Stevens of Colchester, CT and Pauline Neale of Suffield, MA; eight grandchildren, Brian, Kimberly, Eric, Tracy, Scott, Kelly, Alyssa and Sydney; seven great grandchildren, Adalyn, Cameron, Braeden, Derek, Logan, Dylan and Emma  and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul, Richard and Roger.

A  Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.  Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery with full military honors accorded.  Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
